Handmade Persian Moroccan Trellis Area Rug 5x7 Feet - Soft Gray Bohemian Carpet for Living Room, Bedroom & Home Decor

I have been searching for a rug for my boys' room for quite some time. I went to B & M stores and even ordered several online only to end up returning due to lack of quality or softness. This is a terrific rug for the price. It does not look or feel cheap and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a really large one if I needed a rug for a dining or living room where lots of company would see it.I needed something fairly large to cover some hardwood in a 19 x 13 bedroom my two children share but didn't want to spend a ton of money. I found this 5 x 7 Dark Grey for 49$! I wanted something soft enough to feel good on barefeet when they get out of bed but easy to vacuum and clean. While this is not thick in cushion like shag (I'd say 1/4" thick pile) it is quite soft to the touch (little velvety finish to it even). The cushiony issue is remedied by buying a pad from my local Menards for 20$ where you can get various padding thicknesses. It only took about 2 days to settle in and become fairly flat and the issue of discoloration people have written about I don't have. It had a little variation in grey but only b/c the fibers needed to be brushed and fall into place after being unrolled and shipped. I wish they had even more colors and patterns.I would not hesitate to get this rug- looks great, feels quality and price is right! Will be ordering the smaller one as well. **I did not get compensated in any way for this review and it is my own opinion I am sharing.I purchased two of the turquoise 7'10x10'6 rugs for my two 10'x15' rooms. The rugs fit perfectly. The color is richer than I imagined, which worked out perfectly for me. In the photo attached, I had no inside lights on and the sun was setting outside - the actual color in regular lighting is much brighter and closer to the photo on amazon's listing.I have a dog and a cat - accidents happen. I paired each rug with a spill-proof pad underneath to help protect the hardwood floors underneath (I searched for gray and white for a long time. Didn’t want ivory or cream. I ended up finding one on overstock for over $200. Was very pretty. Lasted under 3 months before it looked all worn out and ratty. Couldn’t even see the design in parts of it. After a few emails I finally got them to accept my return and got a full refund. Was searching for a different pattern than this again, but when I saw this, it was over! Finally gray and WHITE!! So far love it. Looks beautiful. Watched a review video and had to buy it. I think it looks perfect in my dining room. Matches the pattern in both sets of sheers on the windows.I bought two of these 5x7 area rugs to cover my living room floor, a roughly 5x14 space. I love the pattern, but I wish the rug were just a few inches shorter so there wouldn't be a slight overlap when the two rugs are side by side. I notice it, but I doubt anybody else in my family does. My bigger gripe, like several others have noted, is that about 20% of the rug is a lighter shade than the rest of the rug. I noticed this on both of the rugs I received. There are also a few wrinkles on one of the rugs due to the way it was packaged that still haven't flattened out (the other rug doesn't have this problem).BUT as soon as my 5 year old saw the new rugs he immediately laid down and made rug angels and told me how soft the rugs are. And as I'm writing this review he is currently napping on the rug. He never would have done this previously. He could have chosen to fall asleep anywhere - his bed, our brand new sofa...etc. but he chose the new rug. SMH, but at least that tells you how comfortable the rug is!I've been looking for an inexpensive area rug for several months now. My living room is narrow, but long, so I needed an 8x10 area rug, but I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for one - especially since I have a dog who sheds A LOT! I wanted something darker. I wasn't 100% sure this rug was going to cut it because the pictures on-line are really poor. You can't really tell what it looks like or get a good idea of how it would feel.It's super soft and the color is beautiful. I ordered the brown / cream color. I am in love with it and my dog loves it too. It's really soft. It's thin and doesn't have a high pile, but it's just beautiful in my living room. I ordered this on Thursday afternoon and it wasn't supposed to be delivered for over a week. The seller had it packed up and shipped out that day and it arrived the next day. I was so excited to have it early! My living room looks beautiful - this rug really ties everything together. If you are on the fence about this rug, I would say go for it. You won't be disappointed.
